Race 3. (19:25) Greyhounds Entertainment (515m)
#3 – Slingshot Hogan
Slingshot Hogan is an eight-time winner overall, including two wins earlier this preparation.
The two-year-old son of Bernardo has a time of 29.76, which is quick enough to be competitive in this field.
Trap three shouldn’t be a problem.
Race 5. (20:04) Australian Sprint Next Week (515m)
#8 – Rev Rose
The one-year-old daughter of Shima Shine owns three wins and eight placings from 15 starts, and she could run well at her track debut.
She looked the goods when winning two starts back, and getting the wide trap should give her time to wind up and sprint late.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Race 6. (20:25) Launching Pad Slots on Sale Jan 22 (515m)
#5 – Elite Alex
Elite Alex is a professional 19-time winner, including his last two starts.
The two-year-old owns 19 wins and 12 placings from 43 starts, including six wins at the track and distance.
His best time of 29.18 is fair flying.
Race 8. (21:04) Launching Pad March 28 (515m)
#6 – Mepunga Shine
Mepunga Shine is a slick speedster with 14 starts for eight wins and three placings.
The one-year-old son of Shima Shine hasn’t won at his last two starts, but his form prior was much better.
Trap six makes it tricky but he has the most upside.

Race 5. (16:37) Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge (395m)
#7 – Obliging Hope
Obliging Hope was good enough to win three consecutive races earlier this preparation, which is tidy form.
The two-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale owns five wins from 12 starts, including a win at the track and distance.
Trap seven is ideal, so look for a betting push.
Race 7. (17:22) Newhaven Stud Farm (395m)
#4 – Lucky Lance
Lucky Lance got back to his best form with a win at Albion Park, so he could stay in form.
The four-year-old son of Barcia Bale is a prolific 26-time winner and 26-time placegetter, so he’s a quality greyhound at his best.
He loves the track and distance, so include him in picks.
Race 8. (17:37) Marburg Pub (520m)
#3 – Super Scrub
Super Scrub is shooting for his third consecutive win after winning at Albion Park his last two.
The one-year-old son of Fernando Bale is a nine-time winner from 15 starts, and his best time of 29.97 is slick.
Trap three is ideal, and we’re not leaving him out of selections.
Race 11. (18:40) Carina Leagues Club (395m)
#7 – Dixie Gambles
Dixie Gambles is a 27-time winner having hit top gear at her last two starts.
The three-year-old has regained her best form in a big way, and getting trap seven is ideal for the speedster.
Look for a betting push on race day.
