Sandown Park racing tips

Race 5. (20:01) Launching Pad Runaway (515m)
#3 – Bun Storm @ $4.20
Bun Storm owns five wins and seven placings from 13 starts, including a solid second placing at Sandown Park last time out.
The one-year-old daughter of Droopys Sydney owns a win and a placing from three attempts at the track and distance.
She has speed on her inside, but she could have the class to win.
Race 6. (20:25) Launching Final (515m)
#2 – Lakeview Emily @ $2.20
Lakeview Emily comes off three consecutive wins, and she’s the worthy favourite for the feature race.
The two-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale is a six-time winner, and five of those wins have come at the track and distance.
Her odds could shorten to around $1.90 on race night.
Race 7. (20:43) Launching Pad Consolation Final (515m)
#1 – Zelda Chaos @ $3.40
Zelda Chaos looks to cap off consistent form with a win, and he’s our top pick.
The two-year-old son of Need My Moneynow has a quick best time of 29.50, which is more than competitive enough.
Getting the inside trap could be all he needs to win.
Race 8. (21:04) Easter Gift (515m)
#2 – In the Hub @ $2.15
In the Hub owns 10 wins from 20 starts, so the two-year-old has every chance of winning the Easter Gift.
The son of Fernando Bale has a 29.10 on his record, which is fair flying, and he’s the worthy favourite for this race.
We expect his odds to firm on race day, so take the value.

Angle Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:28) Sky Racing Maiden (530m)
#2 – Weblec Willow
Weblec Willow did enough to run second on debut at Angle Park, and she could go one better.
The one-year-old daughter of Mepunga Blazer should be better for the experience, and that could be reflected in betting markets.
Look for a betting push on race night.
Race 4. (20:31) Happy 3th Birthday Zianna (530m)
#1 – Me Style
Me Style has been around the mark throughout her career, including a win and three placings.
The two-year-old went close at Angle Park last time out, so having experience at the track should help her cause.
Getting the inside trap could be all she needs to win.
Race 7. (21:34) The Dogcast Mixed (595m)
#2 – Katrina Highkick
Katrina Highkick turned her form around when winning at Gawler last time out, and we think she’s worth following.
It was only her third win from 41 starts, but it should give her enough confidence to kick on with it.
She owns seven placings from nine starts at the track, which is another positive.
Race 8. (21:58) McQueens Tavern (530m)
#6 – Jukebox Duke
Jukebox Duke is gunning for three consecutive wins after winning his last two at Murray Bridge.
The 10-time winner has class on his side, and although his wins have come at lower levels, this isn’t much harder.
He only needs luck from a middle trap to win.
