The Meadows
—
Race 2. (18:52) Happy Belated Debbie (525m)
#2 – Canya Amy
Canya Amy owns two wins from her last three starts, so that form is tough to overlook here.
The one-year-old daughter of Sennachie has yet to fire in two starts at the track and distance, but that could all change.
Punters could get each-way odds on race day.
Race 5. (20:02) Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning (525m)
#8 – Explicit
Explicit could be the next star on the track after posting six wins and two placings from eight starts.
The one-year-old daughter of Bernardo has $76,000 in the bank, and she should get all favours from the wide trap.
We’re not expecting big odds on race night.
Race 7. (20:44) Houdini Boy @ Stud (600m)
#2 – Big Bang Buster
Big Bang Buster looked the goods winning his last three starts, and he could win his first start at The Meadows.
The son of Barcia Bale owns five wins and 10 placings from 21 starts, so there’s no reason why she can’t beat this field.
Look for a positive betting move.
Race 8. (21:08) City View Bistro (525m)
#3 – Umberto
Umberto is a slick customer with 13 wins and 12 placings from 28 starts, and he’s one of the best greyhounds at the meeting.
The two-year-old owns four wins at the track and distance, and his best time is easily good enough to win this race.
He only needs clear running room from the trap.

Wentworth Park

Race 2. (19:03) Ladbroke It (520m)
#2 – Wiradjuri Queen
Wiradjuri Queen comes off a win and that form should hold up well enough for this company.
The three-year-old has yet to race at Wentworth Park, but the new environment shouldn’t do her chances any harm.
She has enough experience to put this field to bed.
Race 4. (19:49) Typhoon Sammy @ Sires on Ice (520m)
#3 – Zipping Megatron
Zipping Megatron owns two wins and a placing from three starts, and he should keep winning this season.
The son of Superior Panama has already run a 29.42, so he’s a slick customer, and this field might not be any match for him.
Include him in picks at short odds.
Race 7. (20:57) Wentworthparkgreyhounds Final (520m)
#2 – Froch
It’s not an easy field but Froch comes off an impressive win, and he could go back-to-back.
The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale owns seven wins from 18 starts, so he doesn’t often run a bad race.
Trap two is ideal, so include him here.
Race 9. (21:38) Ladbrokes Odds Surge (520m)
#1 – Numb
Numb looked good winning consecutive races earlier this preparation, which is good enough form.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has a quick PB of 29.90, and if she runs anywhere near that time, she shouldn’t get beaten.
Getting the inside trap could be enough to see her win.
