The Meadows racing tips

Race 1. (18:32) Gorski Truck and Trailer (525m)

#1 – Duran Pantera

Seeking back-to-back wins is Duran Pantera, who gets a good chance to rise through the grades.

The one-year-old daughter of Ballymac Kingdom meets a tough field on Saturday, but getting the inside trap could be enough.

Look for a betting push on race night.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (19:33) Vaughan Storer and Associates (730m)

#1 – Mepunga Lara

We’re going with another inside dog in Mepunga Lara, who comes off back-to-back wins at Sandown Park.

The one-year-old daughter of Hooked on Scotch owns six wins from 13 starts, so she’s tough to ignore, and she appreciates the longer distance.

Money should come for her, so take the opening odds.

Stake: 3.5 Units

Race 7. (20:34) Gorski Trailers in Stock Now (525m)

#7 – Jorogumo

Jorogumo is enjoying his recent racing, including three wins and a placing from his last four starts.

The son of Beast Unleashed won by a half-length in a driving finish last start, which should be a good form guide.

Drawing wide is ideal, and he has time to find his feet and sprint around the outside.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (20:52) Home of the Phoenix (525m)

#2 – Brute Force

Gunning for three consecutive wins is Brute Force, who won at The Meadows two back before scoring at Sandown Park last time out.

The two-year-old son of Koblenz owns two wins and three placings at the track and distance, and getting an inside trap adds to his appeal.

He has a nice future, so back him to win this race.

Stake: 3 Units

Wentworth Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:58) Ladbrokes Quick Multi (520m)

#8 – Foxtrot Ethics

Boasting 11 wins and 10 placings from 39 starts is Foxtrot Ethics, who shouldn’t mind drawing wide in this race.

The two-year-old owns two wins from four starts at the track and distance, and she’s good enough to handle this field.

Look for her to cross the field and set up a lead down the back straight.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (21:06) Lids Fly on Ladbrokes Live (720m)

#5 – Lady Wilson

Lady Wilson is all class, and she showed that when beating a good field at Wentworth Park last time out.

The three-year-old daughter of Orsen Allen is a 17-time winner overall, and although this is a hot field, she’s good enough to win.

If she gets early room to move, she should finish over the top of them.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (21:27) Ladbrokes SRM in Multis (520m)

#2 – Zadie Bale

Zadie Bale doesn’t know how to run a bad race with 23 wins and 41 placings, and her experience is enough to win this race.

The four-year-old is one of the more experienced runners at the meeting, but she’s still running well enough to win.

We’re happy to include her in our picks as a each-way type.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (21:48) Mark Hughes Foundation (520m)

#8 – Tracker

Tracker has 11 wins from 33 starts, and with that record, we’re happy to include him in our picks.

The three-year-old has run a 29.70, which is good enough to win against this company, and we expect him to run a slick time here.

If he gets luck from out wide, he could put them away.

Stake: 2 Units
