Race 1. (15:29) Tabtouch Platinum Series Heat 1 (1200m)
#4 – Climb on Top
Climb on Top kicked off his career with consecutive wins before meeting tough opposition.
The four-year-old son of Demerit owns two wins from four starts overall, and he finds good early speed, which is ideal.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Race 2. (16:08) Guinness Plate (1000m)
#2 – Show the Way
Show the Way did well to run third on debut at Ascot behind Angels Impact, and he could turn the tables.
The son of Ducimus was under a length behind the top weight, and he gets a slight weight advantage.
It could be enough to see him winning.
Race 3. (16:53) Amelia Park 1MW (1100m)
#3 – Triple Jay
Triple Jay comes off consecutive second placings, so he’s nearing an overdue win.
The four-year-old son of Street Boss owns two wins and three placings from seven starts, which is a tidy record.
Having William Pike riding helps his cause.
Race 4. (17:38) PKF Perth 1MW (1800m)
#11 – Pleasure Cruise
Pleasure Cruise started his preparation with consecutive wins before finishing fifth last time out at Ascot.
Having that experience on the track should help his cause, and his best form could return on Saturday.
Look for a betting push for a runner that should attract attention.
Race 5. (18:15) Bisley Workwear BM66 (2200m)
#8 – Miss Intention
Miss Intention is already a two-time winner this preparation and she’s good enough to add another.
The six-year-old mare comes off a win at Northam, and although racing at Ascot is different, she has placed here.
Look for each-way odds on race day.
Race 6. (18:55) Morley Growers Market BM78 (1200m)
#9 – Rusty Dreams
Rusty Dreams owns five wins from eight starts, and although this distance is now short of her best, she won her only start over 1200m.
The Guineas winner owns a win and a placing from two starts at the track, and carrying 54kg makes her tough to beat.
She could be well-backed on race day.
Race 7. (19:30) Blue Alpine Crown BM66 (1400m)
#1 – Benji’s
Benji’s ended last preparation on a winning streak and it almost continued fresh up at Ascot.
The consistent six-year-old owns five wins and six placings from 18 starts overall, including four placings at Ascot.
It’s only a matter of time before he wins on the track.
Race 8. (20:05) MacMahon Belgravia Stakes (1200m)
#2 – Super Smirk @ $3.10
Super Smirk showed good pace last season when winning three of her five starts, so she’s worth following.
The three-year-old daughter of Super One is unbeaten in two starts over the distance, and she has more upside than most.
Take the $3.10 before it shortens.
Race 9. (20:40) Happy Birthday Geoff Magor BM72 (1600m)
#5 – Sentimental Hero
Sentimental Hero looked good when winning fresh up at Belmont before placing at Ascot.
The six-year-old gelding by Al Maher has yet to miss a win or placing at Ascot, and we can’t see that changing.
Look for each-way odds on race day.
