#2 – Hymns of Eladdair
The Adam Durrant-trained gelding comes off consecutive wins at Pinjarra, which is solid form.
The three-year-old won by 1.5 lengths last time out, so that’s an excellent form guide for this level of racing.
Getting the inside draw adds to his appeal.
Race 2. (15:19) K Andersen Hall of Fame Handicap (1200m)
#8 – Collective
Collective has yet to finish worse than second in four starts this preparation, including a win at Northam.
The four-year-old mare owns two second placings from as many starts at Belmont, so he won’t take long to win.
Getting the inside draw with a light weight helps.
Race 3. (15:55) The Professionals R/E (2100m)
#2 – Sowar
Sowar isn’t the most consistent type going around, but he’s already a two-time winner this preparation.
The seven-year-old son of Sepoy won at Belmont last time out, and he’s a three-time winner on the track.
Punters could get each-way odds on race day.
Race 4. (16:34) Dyenamic Sublimation BM66 (1400m)
#1 – Pompey
The Williams-trained gelding owns four wins from eight starts, including two wins on the track.
The four-year-old son of Xtravagant doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and getting 3kg off his back is ideal.
Look for any betting push on race day.
Race 5. (17:10) Gotta Love the Bowlo BM72 (1600m)
#7 – Be Optimistic
Be Optimistic comes off a second placing at Belmont, which is ideal form for this race.
The five-year-old mare by Blackfriars has yet to win on the track, but she owns three placings on this surface.
Getting the inside draw with a light weight helps.
Race 6. (17:50) D Katunarich Memorial 1MW (1600m)
#2 – Tallangatta
The six-year-old comes off three consecutive placings, and he loves racing at Belmont.
She owns a win and four placings at Belmont, and some of her best racing comes over this distance.
There isn’t much to this field, so he could take advantage.
Race 7. (18:20) Winecow 1MW (1000m)
#1 – Cut the Talk
Cut the Talk is a three-time winner at the distance, and we expect him to show his best form on Saturday.
The four-year-old son of Oratorio owns a win and a placing from four starts at Belmont, which is ideal form.

Race 8. (18:55) Idyllic Prince Stakes (1300m)
#7 – Phanta @ $2.80
Phanta comes off consecutive wins at Belmont, where he is a six-time winner from nine starts.
The six-year-old son of Gingerbread Man owns seven wins and five placings from 17 starts overall, which is terrific form.
We’re happy with the $2.80 odds with bookmakers.
Race 9. (19:25) Happy 70th Rod Kemp BM72 (1200m)
#4 – Magnificent Andy
Magnificent Andy ended last prep with consecutive wins, and he could hit the ground running.
The five-year-old gelding by Magnus is a past winner on the track, and getting barrier three is ideal.
There are some nice types in this race, so punters could get each-way odds.
