Wagga

Race 2. (14:05) Merry Christmas Maiden (1400m)
#11 – Single Beat @ $3.50
Single Beat was much better when third last time out Canberra, which is a good form guide.
The three-year-old filly by Super One has enough experience with six starts, and that could be the difference.
We’re happy to take her at the odds.
Race 4. (15:20) Huon Contractors BM66 (2000m)
#10 – Australian Harbour @ $3.40
Australian Harbour has been disappointing since arriving in Australia, but he has more upside than most here.
The five-year-old owns seven placings from 13 starts, including two at Wagga, and dropping to 55kg could make the difference.
Look for the former European to run well.
Race 6. (16:40) Riverina Mechanical Handicap (1200m)
#5 – Solvere @ $3.80
Solvere comes off three consecutive wins against easier company, but he could measure up.
The five-year-old gelding by Rubick won by a half-length at Corowa last time out, and that’s a tidy form guide.
The early betting support is a good sign.
Race 8. (17:55) Byrne Trailers BM58 (1400m)
#3 – Magmetric @ $4.80
Magmetric has looked good so far with a win and two placings from four starts.
The six-year-old gelding has been patiently handled throughout his career, but he looks to have a fair amount of ability.
We’re taking the each-way odds from bookmakers.

Race 1. (18:15) Kids Night Out Maiden (1000m)
#4 – Presides @ $3.40
Presides is on debut for James Cummings, and we always take notice of his debutantes.
The three-year-old colt by Lonhro is bred for speed and he comes off a trial placing at Warwick Farm.
That’s a good form guide for this level of racing, and he also comes off a jumpout win down the Flemington straight.
Race 4. (19:45) De Bortoli Maiden (1600m)
#4 – Red Mile @ $2.10
Red Mile hasn’t done much wrong in two starts to date, which both resulted in fourths.
The three-year-old gelding by Justify was only 2.4 lengths behind the winner last time out, and we’re not surprised by the betting moves.
It won’t take him long to break through for the win.
Race 6. (20:45) Frankston Sand Soil & Mix BM64 (1600m)
#3 – Tahlequah @ $2.25
Tahlequah looked good winning at Pakenham two back before resuming with a fourth at Geelong.
The five-year-old mare by Tarzino owns two wins and two placings from eight starts, and the betting support is a good sign.
She just needs luck from the draw.
Race 8. (21:45) Flooring Excellence Getout Handicap (1200m)
#4 – Shambo @ $5.50
Shambo was too good for them at Mornington last time out, and that’s a good form guide.
The four-year-old son of Shamexpress enjoyed the slight easing in track conditions, and getting the inside draw is ideal.
We’re happy to include him at the each-way odds.
