Race 2. (18:45) Heartkids for Xmas BM64 (1600m)
#2 – Mr Trafficanti @ $3.90
Mr Trafficanti comes off consecutive wins at Mornington and Geelong, so he’s the one they must get past.
The five-year-old gelding by Turn Me Loose knuckled down nicely to score last time out, which showed good fighting qualities.
We’re happy to keep following him.
Race 3. (19:15) Centec Security Group BM64 (1000m)
#1 – Our Cracklin Rosie @ $2.45
Our Cracklin Rosie got the better of a tidy field at The Valley last start, and we fancy her to win again.
The three-year-old daughter of Grunt won by just under a length, and she stuck on gamely to get the job done.
Getting 1.5kg off her back helps her chances.
Race 5. (20:15) Western General Bodyworks BM70 (2040m)
#11 – Staunch @ $3.10
Staunch is long overdue a win after finishing second at The Valley behind Captain Britain last time out.
The five-year-old son of Flying Artie owns two wins and four placings from 11 starts, so his record suggests he’ll be right in the mix.
He gets an apprentice claim, which could be enough.
Race 7. (21:15) Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge (955m)
#9 – Hissy Fit @ $2.70
Hissy Fit comes off three consecutive placings, and she’s good enough to turn that form into a winning run.
The four-year-old mare by Zoustar ran 2.5 lengths behind Twin Perfection, which is a good form guide for this race.
Barrier 11 makes it tough, but she could push forward and sprint away with it.

Race 1. (18:00) The Agency Real Estate Maiden (1250m)
#1 – Dazzle Legend @ $2.70
Dazzle Legend owns two placings from four starts, including a third at Canterbury fresh up.
The three-year-old son of Zoustar was only 1.2 lengths behind the winner as a $2.70 chance, so punters get the same odds here.
We expect him to be fighting out the finish.
Race 3. (19:00) Schweppes Maiden (1100m)
#1 – Hokusai @ $3.20
Hokusai owns two placings from three starts, and it’s only a matter of time before she wins.
The Waterhouse/Bott-trained filly by Brave Smash ran a half-length behind Gitalong last time out, which is a tidy performance.
Look for her to push forward and be tough to run down.
Race 4. (19:30) James Squire BM72 (1900m)
#4 – Yet He Moves @ $2.60
Yet He Moves scored an overdue win at Canterbury last time out, which is an excellent form guide for this race.
The four-year-old son of Adelaide owns two wins and four placings from 10 starts, and he has more ability than most here.
We expect him to be fighting out the finish.
Race 6. (20:30) Toyota Forklifts BM72 (1250m)
#4 – Karedada @ $2.70
Karedada kicked off his career with three consecutive wins before failing at Randwick, but that came against a nice field.
The four-year-old has been primed with two trials, including a placing at Wyong, and the money has come fresh up.
We expect him to be right in the finish.
