Race 1. (13:30) Mildura & District Maiden (1000m)
#10 – Lonely One @ $2.40
Lonely One comes off consecutive second placings to start her career, so she won’t take long to win a race.
She ran both races at Swan Hill and racing at Mildura is different, but we were happy with what she showed on race day.
Dropping in weight should help her cause.
Race 2. (14:00) Nick Burke Plumbing Maiden (1200m)
#4 – Coronation Drive @ $2.35
Coronation Drive didn’t jump well on debut, but he made enough ground in the straight to warrant attention.
The three-year-old gelding by Foxwedge should find this much easier than what he faced at Sandown, hence the odds.
We’re happy to back him against an easier maiden field.
Race 4. (15:00) Mildura Plumbing Maiden (2000m)
#10 – You Oughta Know @ $2.45
You Oughta Know has been backed and beaten a couple of times so far, but we’re sticking with him.
The three-year-old filly by Lonhro comes off a sixth at Pakenham when rising in distance, and this field is there for the taking.
Her odds have drifted but include her in picks.
Race 6. (16:00) Sunraysia Daily BM58 (1000m)
#3 – Flyin’ For Us @ $3.90
Flyin’ For Us is gunning for three wins on the bounce after winning his last two at Clare.
This is a rise in class, but the four-year-old son of America has the confidence levels up, and that can’t be overlooked.
Take the each-way odds available.

Race 2. (14:05) Allbids Maiden (1460m)
#3 – Flying Dubawi @ $7.50
Flying Dubawi had been showing good consistency this season, and if he gets back to that form, he’s a threat.
The four-year-old son of Dubawi Dream owns five placings from 17 starts, and it’s only a matter of time before he wins.
Getting 1.5kg off his back helps, so take the juicy odds.
Race 3. (14:40) Walsh’s Hotel Maiden (1000m)
#4 – I Am Real @ $5.50
I Am Real could make an impact fresh up against a field lacking in serious opposition.
The four-year-old mare by I Am Invincible was good enough to place at Gold Coast twice last preparation, and her odds are shortening.
Take the odds before they shorten close to start time.
Race 4. (15:15) Jerrabomberra Hotel C1 (1600m)
#6 – Twin Turbo @ $2.45
Twin Turbo turned his form around when finishing third at Canberra last time out, and that’s the best form guide.
The four-year-old son of Sebring only needs a bit of luck from a wide barrier to win, and this race is there for the taking.
He’s the favourite, so take the price before it shortens.
Race 5. (15:50) Campbell & George BM58 (1000m)
#11 – Prophet Time @ $3.80
Prophet Time has been right around the mark this season, including a win at Wagga in January.
Her form since has included placings at Wagga and Riverside, so the four-year-old isn’t far off another victory.
This race is there for the taking, and she’s our clear top pick.
