Race 1. (13:10) Pluim Group C1 Handicap (1600m)
#3 – Invincible Spy @ $2.80
Invincible Spy won by just under a length on debut at Newcastle, which was a terrific effort.
The three-year-old colt by I Am Invincible is in good hands with the Waterhouse/Bott stable, and he will likely find the front.
Money has come for him, which isn’t surprising.
Race 3. (14:25) Spring Loaded BM64 (1900m)
#3 – Majestic Style @ $2.90
Majestic Style comes off a win at Gosford and she’s good enough to kick on with it.
The four-year-old mare by Vadamos owns two wins and three placings from 10 starts, which is a tidy form guide.
Barrier four is ideal, and Tom Sherry has been riding well.
Race 6. (16:20) Spring Loaded Super Maiden (1200m)
#2 – Jared @ $3.70
Jared has been right around the mark this preparation after posting three consecutive placings.
The three-year-old son of Your Song ran third at Hawkesbury last time out, which is a tidy form guide for this level of racing.
Punters get solid odds from bookmakers.
Race 7. (16:55) Sneddon Bros BM64 (1200m)
#6 – Surfers Royale @ $3.90
Surfers Royale showed solid consistency last preparation, and he’s better than his form suggests.
The four-year-old son of Casino Prince owns two wins and four placings from 10 starts, and its form at this distance bodes well.
We’re happy to include it in selections.

Race 1. (13:30) Take the Road to Jericho Maiden (2000m)
#4 – Sardonian @ $4.40
Sardonian turned his form around this preparation with consecutive third placings.
The four-year-old son of Showcasing enjoyed the rise in distance, and getting to 2000m adds more weight to his chances.
We’re happy with the each-way odds available.
Race 4. (15:00) Subway Warrnambool Maiden (1400m)
#5 – Spiritual Thinker @ $2.40
Spiritual Thinker owns five placings from eight starts, and it won’t take her long to win.
The four-year-old daughter of So You Think owns two placings at the track and three placings at the distance.
Her fresh up form reads well and $2.40 is a fair price.
Race 6. (16:00) Western District Services BM64 (1200m)
#7 – Angelone @ $4.60
Angelone didn’t fire at Hamilton last time out, but his form prior included a win and three placings.
The Kylie Vella-trained six-year-old showed good speed when placing at Ballarat in April, and a repeat of that effort bodes well.
Punters get each-way odds to snap up.
Race 7. (16:30) McLaren Hunt Financial Group BM64 (1700m)
#10 – Kermadelle @ $3.60
Kermadelle scored an overdue win at Warrnambool last start, and staying on his home track is ideal.
The four-year-old mare by Kermadec owns a win and two placings from four starts, and getting the inside draw is a bonus.
The $3.60 is unlikely to last long.
