Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers @ Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
After losing Game 2 at home, the Boston Celtics made things right when smashing the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3.
It was a much-needed win for the Celtics, who are still the favourites to win the NBA title, and they are looking to take a 3-1 advantage on Tuesday.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are doing their thing, and although the Cavaliers have played well at times throughout the NBA playoffs, they haven’t been consistent enough.
Donovan Mitchell is doing all he can to keep them in the hunt. He played well to win at TD Garden last week, but his teammates didn’t have his back at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse last time on the court.
Bookmakers have the Celtics at $1.28 to win outright, which was to be expected. They are the better team, and we don’t think playing on the road worries them too much.
There is much more depth with the Celtics, who live behind the three-point line. However, we were pleased to see them attack the rim more, so we’re happy to follow them.
Punters get the Celtics at –8.5, which is a sizable line. However, that line could move to around –7.5 as most of the early money has come for the Cavaliers to cover the number.
We’re picking Boston to score a convincing win and head home to wrap up the series.
Bet: Boston Celtics –8.5 @ $1.94

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Dallas Mavericks @ American Airlines Centre
The Dallas Mavericks have turned the series on its head by taking a 2-1 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After losing the first game, they didn’t look like turning things around. However, the support players have stepped up big time, especially P.J. Washington.
He top scored for the Mavericks in Game 3, which allows the like of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to have a breather throughout the game.
That has always been imported for the Mavericks, and it’s why they’re favoured to win Game 4 and take a commanding lead.
The lack of experience for the Thunder could be working against them. They have never been in this situation, and although Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing well, he’s not getting enough help.
Bookmakers expect the Thunder to be competitive at $2.04, but we’re backing the Mavericks to win. They have momentum in their favour, and playing at home adds to our confidence levels.
Take the $1.81 available before it shortens on game day, and there is also good value in the –1.5 line at $1.92, so lock in the Mavericks to win a third consecutive game.
Bet: Dallas Mavericks –1.5 @ $1.90
