Super Rugby Pacific Round 11 Tips
Friday 3/5/24
5:05pm Hurricanes vs Waratahs @ Wellington Stadium
The Hurricanes are the best team in the competition, and we can’t see their Super Rugby lead being threatened by the Waratahs.
Bookmakers have the Hurricanes at –20.5, which is a big line, but they’re good enough to put up a big number on the visitors.
Their only loss came to the Brumbies last week, so a bounce back effort is expected.
Betting tip: Hurricanes –20.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Rebels vs Blues @ Melbourne Stadium
The Blues pulled out all the stops in the final 10 minutes to beat the Reds last week, and the Rebels are next in the firing line.
There hasn’t been much consistency with the Rebels, who have looked good at times, but they failed to score a point when losing 39-0 to the Crusaders last week.
The Blues are a much better team than the Crusaders, so the –15.5 line is well worth including in Super Rugby picks.
Betting tip: Blues –15.5 @ $1.90

Saturday 4/5/24
12:05pm Moana Pasifika vs Highlanders @ Teufaiva Stadium
It’s rare to see Moana Pasifika listed as the betting favourites, but they’re $1.67 favourites to beat the Highlanders.
Playing at home should help the Pasifika, who lost 24-17 to the Fijian Drua last week, which could be seen as a better performance than the Highlanders 7-6 win over the Force.
That was a dour effort, so we’re happy to take the home side to prevail.
Betting tip: Moana Pasifika @ $1.67

2:35pm Crusaders vs Reds @ Orangetheory Stadium
The Crusaders haven’t given up on playing finals football after scoring an emphatic 39-0 win over the Rebels last week.
Facing the Reds is a harder task, but the Reds could be tired following a heartbreaking loss to the Blues.
The current betting line is –9.5 for the Crusaders, and although it’s not easy to bet on a team near the bottom of the ladder, they are on the improve.
We wouldn’t rule them out from making a late season run.
Betting tip: Crusaders –9.5 @ $1.90

5:05pm Chiefs vs Force @ FMG Stadium
It’s a week of big betting spreads, including the Chiefs at –22.5 against the Force.
Based on what the Force showed last week, which was only six points against the Highlanders, we can’t see them sticking with the Chiefs.
The Waikato-based franchise is one of the more explosive teams in Super Rugby, especially on the counterattack, so we’re backing them to put up a big number on Saturday night.
Betting tip: Chiefs –22.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Brumbies vs Fijian Drua @ GIO Stadium
The Brumbies are big –15.5 favourites against the Drua, which comes as a surprise to no one.
The Drua are terrible on the road, and although they have secured some wins at home, playing on the road has been too tough for them.
There is better value with the Brumbies, who would love a win to potentially jump into second place on the Super Rugby ladder.
Betting tip: Brumbies –15.5 @ $1.90
