Round 12 of Super Rugby is upon us and there’s some riveting game to look forward to this week.
There’s only one country vs country game this week (Highlanders vs Chiefs), so it should be a great round of rugby.
We have free expert tips, form and odds for all seven Super Rugby Round 12 games.
5:35pm Crusaders vs. Sharks @ Rugby League Park
The Crusaders are going about their business without a care in the world at the moment. They scored another impressive win over the Lions last week and there’s a reason why they’re odds-on to win this season.
Coming up against them this week are the Sharks, which scored a quality 23-15 win over the Waratahs in Sydney last week and that should give them plenty of confidence.
Bookmakers have 21.5 points between these two teams and although Crusaders are clearly the better team, that’s a big line to cover.

7:45pm Reds vs. Sunwolves @ Suncorp Stadium
The Sunwolves have been improved this season, but they still don’t have the consistency needed to be a real threat in Super Rugby.
They were smashed 52-0 at home against the Highlanders last week and a big turnaround will be needed against the Reds at Suncorp.
Reds are coming off a tidy 21-14 win in South Africa against the Sharks in Round 10 and having had the bye last week is ideal when travelling home.
They look to have the advantage over this Sunwolves side.

3:15pm Hurricanes vs. Rebels @ Westpac Arena
The Hurricanes showed why they’re a threat this season when beating the Chiefs 47-19 last week.
It was one-way traffic for the Hurricanes, which haven’t been the most consistent team this year but they also haven’t enjoyed a consistent team lineup.
With their All Black players in the team, they’re just as good as the Crusaders and the Rebels, who enjoyed a much-needed break last week, could be up against it.
Rebels started the season with a hiss and a roar but it has been slim pickings since. A loss to the Waratahs in Round 10 won’t be good enough form for this.

5:35pm Highlanders vs. Chiefs @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
These teams are coming off vastly different Round 11 performances. The Highlanders were effortless 52-0 winners over Sunwolves and Chiefs were woeful against the Hurricanes.
This is always an intriguing contest between two capable Kiwi sides, which love to attack. Punters should see plenty of ball movement this Saturday and we’re in for an exciting game.
Bookmakers have the Highlanders as 10.5-point favourites, but we’re expecting a closely-fought game.
Betting tip: Chiefs +10.5 @ $1.90 – Bet Now

7:45pm Brumbies vs. Blues @ GIO Stadium
This should be one of the closest games of the week as the Brumbies take on the Blues in Canberra.
Brumbies played well in defeat against the Jaguares last week and they should take plenty of benefit from that. It was a performance that backed up a 19-17 win over the Stormers in South Africa the week prior.
The Blues had a week off last week, following their 24-12 loss to the Highlanders. It has been a much-improved season for the Auckland-based side this year.
They are a serious threat to the Brumbies and it’s always a close game between these two sides.

11:05pm Bulls vs. Waratahs @ Loftus Versfeld
Another narrow defeat for the Bulls has stifled their season after falling 24-23 to the Stormers last week. In what has been a frustrating season, the Bulls need to rebound against the Waratahs this week.
The Waratahs were 23-15 losers against the Sharks last week and considering they were playing at home, it wasn’t a loss they were expecting.
It’s hard to predict the result for both of these sides and because of that, we’re going with the value on offer with the Waratahs.
Betting tip: Waratahs +7.5 @ $1.90 – Bet Now

5:40am Jaguares vs. Stormers @ Estadio Jose Amalfitani
Jaguares are always tough to beat at home and they showed that last week when beating the Brumbies narrowly.
They held a good lead throughout and held on gamely. That should hold them in good stead this week against the Stormers, which returned to winning form last week.
Stormers scored a 24-23 win over the Bulls having lost to the Brumbies the week prior. They have never been a great team on the road, however, so we’re leaning towards the Jaguares.
