Super Rugby Round 7 kicks off with an exciting Hurricanes vs. Crusaders matchup, which could be one of the games of the season.
There are six Super Rugby games on this week and we have form, free tips and odd for every Round 7 game scheduled.
5:35pm Hurricanes vs. Crusaders @ Westpac Trust Stadium
The Hurricanes just lasted against the Stormers last week, giving up 28 points but scoring 34 in reply. It was a much-needed win for the franchise which has struggled to find any consistency through six rounds.
For the Crusaders, it was their first loss and it was a shock result against the Waratahs. The 20-12 effort wasn’t helped by their lack of All Black talent, but it wasn’t the result most punters were expecting to see.
It makes for an intriguing game here but we’re sticking with the class of the Crusaders.

7:45pm Waratahs vs. Sunwolves @ McDonald Jones Stadium
The Waratahs were the surprise winners in Round 6 when beating the previously unbeaten and 2018 champions Crusaders 20-12.
It was a great defensive effort from the Sydney-based team and they should enjoy playing a significantly easier side in the Sunwolves this week. The Japanese-based side are improved this season, but in saying that, improving on a one-win season isn’t hard.
This should be one-way traffic for the Waratahs and we’re confident they can cover the 13.5 points start that bookmakers are offering.

5:35pm Blues vs. Stormers @ Eden Park
The Stormers are probably the best travelling team from South Africa and that was evident last week against the Hurricanes, but it’s tough to pull off those kind of efforts two weeks running.
Facing the Blues shouldn’t be a scary task for any team, but they’re coming off an upset win over the Highlanders, which was their first New Zealand Conference win in over a year.
Confidence has always been lacking for the Blues but they now have something to play for this season. They can make the playoffs with sustained results and we fancy them to go back-to-back and beat the Stormers.
Bookmakers have the line at 5.5 and that’s generous for the home team.

7:45pm Reds vs. Rebels @ Suncorp Stadium
We’re not sure what we watched last week, but apparently that’s what the Reds can do when they actually play well. Fans and punters don’t often see that from the Reds and trusting they will do it again isn’t easy.
Bookmakers aren’t trusting them either, having installed them as home underdogs against the Rebels, who are coming off a 28-14 loss to the Sharks. The Rebels have also had to make the long flight home and will tired because of it.
We have no doubts that the Rebels are the better team and they should make the playoffs with ease, but the Reds could be the better bet on Saturday night.

12:05am Sharks vs. Bulls @ Kings Park
The South African conference is tough to read this season but the Sharks are coming off a powerful 14-point win over the Rebels last week and that came after a bye week.
That should hold them in good stead for this and the Bulls will be reeling after suffering a shocking 56-20 loss to the Chiefs last week. The Chiefs have been poor this season, so for the Bulls to give up that many points at home is not good.
A rebound performance will be needed by the quality side but the Sharks might be in the better mind-frame to score another win.

8:40am Jaguares vs. Chiefs @ Jose Amalfitani Stadium
Jaguares enjoyed a bye week in Round 6 and they should be refreshed to take on the Chiefs, which have seemingly found their groove with their All Blacks players back in the squad.
The last time they played, the Jaguares were average in defeat to the Stormers in South Africa, losing 35-8 and showing that they’re not good playing on the road.
Chiefs fans would have been pleased with what they saw last week, putting up a big number on the Bulls and scoring a draw against the Hurricanes the week prior.
Although playing on the road again isn’t easy, the Chiefs are a confidence side and we’re confident they can win again.
