Elsewhere, Western United are keeping pace, whilst Macrthur FC, Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC appear to be struggling for form and consistency of late.
Down at the bottom of the table, Brisbane Roar managed to pick up their first win of the season last time out, closing the gap on fellow strugglers Perth Glory and Newcastle Jets above them.
