North Melbourne vs. West Coast Predictions

Best Bet

North Melbourne –8.5 @ $1.90

Punters get a generous AFL line from bookmakers with North Melbourne –8.5. We believe they are a much better team than West Coast, and that’s not a bold statement. The Kangaroos got past Richmond two weeks ago before losing to Collingwood, which was expected.

West Coast, to its credit, has played some good games in 2025, but the Eagles aren’t a good AFL team, and they should be exposed by North Melbourne on Sunday. The Kangaroos are 0-2 from their last two against West Coast, so this is a revenge game for the home side, and they should make the most of it.

Same Game Multi

North Melbourne –8.5, Cameron Zurhaar 2+ Goals, Paul Curtis 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Under 165.5 @ $9.75

We predict West Coast struggling to score points, so under 165.5 is included in our AFL same game multi picks. They scored 140 points when meeting earlier this year, and it could be a similar result in Round 13.

West Coast comes off 73 and 62-point totals against Geelong and Adelaide, and although North Melbourne is an easier opponent, it should still be a low-scoring game for the visitors.

Cameron Zurhaar pays $1.83 to score 2+ goals, which is a generous offering. He has 13 goals from his last five games, including three goals last week. We thought his odds would be around $1.60, especially against West Coast.

Paul Curtis pays $1.65 despite scoring only one goal in his most recent game. However, he scored consecutive three-goal games prior, and something close to that form is good enough to see him kick a couple of goals on Sunday.

Best Value Bet

Tristan Xerri Anytime Goal Scorer @ $2.95

Kicking goals isn’t the primary goal for Tristan Xerri, but he has two goals from his last five games, including one last week against Collingwood.

He scored in the opening quarter, which is a good sign of his intent, and he should get into the forward 50 much easier against a poor West Coast defence.

$2.95 is a great value price with AFL odds.
