Sunday College Football Picks

Georgia Bulldogs vs Florida Gators @ TIAA Bank Field

The unbeaten and top-ranked Georgia faces a tough road test against the inconsistent Florida Gators.

The Bulldogs are 7-0 after beating three ranked teams in a row, including Kentucky, Auburn and Arkansas. It has been one-way traffic for this team, which has its sights set on the National Championship.

It comes as no surprise to see bookmakers install them at –14, but can the Gators keep it close?

Florida has the offence needed to stick with the Bulldogs, but it’s a different story defensively. Florida allows 21.1 points per game, and Georgia only 6.6. That’s the biggest difference, and Florida allowed 49 points against LSU last week.

Betting against Georgia hasn’t been a good result for punters this season, so we’re not going to. It’s the best team in college football, so we’re prepared to ride them to the bank.

Bet: Georgia Bulldogs -14 @ $1.90 Bet @ Sportsbet

Ole Miss Rebels vs Auburn Tigers @ Jordan-Hare Stadium

Two ranked teams battle for a top 10 spot as the 5-2 Tigers host the 6-1 Rebels.

Auburn scored a tough win over LSU before Georgia scored a 34-10 victory. It was a tough loss to take, but it rebounded with a 38-23 win over Arkansas, which should give it confidence.

Ole Miss has rattled off three consecutive wins after beating Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU. Those form guides stack up nicely, especially the 31-17 win over LSU last week.

It didn’t come as easily against Arkansas when winning 52-51, but that’s before the Razorbacks suffered a few losses, so they were a stronger team.

Playing at home always helps Auburn, but we think the Rebels are a better team. Bookmakers have them as the +2.5 road underdog, so it’s essentially a pick’em.

The offence of the Rebels could be too much for the Tigers to handle, and they are the higher-ranked team. It’s not an easy call, but we can’t pass up the value for the visitors.

Bet: Ole Miss Rebels +2.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Sportsbet

Penn State Nittany Lions vs Ohio State Buckeyes @ Ohio Stadium

There has been a stack of money come for the Buckeyes, who are looking to push back into the top four and playoff position.

They have rebounded from their only loss with five consecutive wins, and they couldn’t have been more impressive when beating Indiana 54-7 last week. It was a thrashing, and it made the selection committee take notice.

It followed a 66-17 win over Maryland and a 52-13 win over Rutgers, so the offence is firing on all cylinders.

Penn State isn’t in the same form after losing consecutive games to Iowa and Illinois. They went to nine overtimes last week, but lost 20-18. It was a tough loss to take, and it could see them go into a downward spiral.

C.J. Stroud could have a field day against the Nittany Lions defence, and they could get blown off the park early.

Take Ohio State –18.5, as we expect the line to move is only one direction,

Bet: Ohio State –18.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Sportsbet
