Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.10PM Book The Angle Park Eight’s One to Four Win Non-Penalty – 530 metres

#2 Paul Keeping – Bet @ Sportsbet

Comes up at an each-way price again and hasn’t let punters down running placings in four of his last five runs here, is well placed on the inside to balance up behind them early and hunt the rail.

Has ambitions beyond the five hundred metres and if he can weave a passage will be fishing the best of these in restricted grade.

Race 2. 7.28PM Fresh Food Pet Co Maiden – 530 metres

#2 Jalapeno Lad – Bet @ Sportsbet

Was in a tough maiden final last start and when squeezed up early couldn’t recover, has been given a slight freshen up and will look to bounce back to his previous run where he went 30.89.

Looked the winner for a long way on that occasion and will have every chance to fly out again and have a little more stamina this time around.

Race 3. 7.49PM Sky Juvenile – 530 metres

#5 Flash Banner – Bet @ Sportsbet

The ex New South Wales Chaser has turned a corner since coming to South Australia boasting an impressive two wins and two second from four starts here at track and trip.

Gets in well with the graders in a juvenile race here, if he races up to what he’s been doing should bounce out from the five and be too quick.

Race 4. 8.10PM Greyhounds as Pets Free for All – 730 metres

#1 Zipping Nebraska – Bet @ Sportsbet

Will be challenged strongly by the eight dog in this race who’s an up and coming stayer, but this dog has the runs under his belt in both NSW and SA and is perfectly drawn the rail.

If he doesn’t ping and lead early knows how to save ground on the fence, confidence is at an all time high with his recent run of form set to continue.

Race 5. 8.28PM At The Dogs South Australia Non-Penalty – 595 metres

#5 Fantastic Victor – Bet @ Sportsbet

Shapes as another ripping match up here as Fantastic Victor clashes with Victa Haydn who does have the advantage of the inside but the five dog is flying.

Ever since he stepped up to the middle-distance has led each of his races for fun and should spear across and take it up, his time are only getting quicker with a stronger run home.

Race 6. 8.49PM Giddy-Up Open – 530 metres

#8 Victa Mikey – Bet @ Sportsbet

Tough race but you simply can’t knock this dogs form, he was rewarded with a win last start after three straight seconds and over that run of form has always been drawn off the track.

If the favourites crash for the rail it could see him get a slingshot around them at the first turn, if not he’ll be chasing hard anyway.

Race 7. 9.10PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 530 metres

#8 Barely’s Gem – Bet @ Sportsbet

Not many prefer it out wide over the five hundred at Angle Park but the wide running Barely’s Gem cherishes the draw a two-time winner including a 30.64 best a couple of weeks ago.

Has gone 5.31 to the first mark and will have every chance to continue to a run of win and placings that have the chaser flying high.

Race 8. 9.31PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 – 530 metres

#2 Bruce Mick Glenn – Bet @ Sportsbet

Real value here on the each-way line, this dog won some quality races all over New South Wales racking up a total of ten wins and went close on several occasions at Wentworth Park.

Was thrown in the deep end with Open heats first up in SA at Murray Bridge, but is much better suited here from a good gate with a vacant outside.

Race 9. 9.50PM XP3020 Grade 6 – 530 metres

#5 Oscar Rose – Bet @ Sportsbet

Not a dog that wins out of turn but this is a race that sets up nicely for him with plenty of pace off the inside but not much strength.

He should get a cart across from box five and with the experience of a run under his belt at the track show off him Gawler form where he’s strong over this distance.

Race 10. 10.13PM Kurt Donsberg Grade 6 – 530 metres

#2 Lucius Malfoy – Bet @ Sportsbet

Former Queenslander built a good record in the Sunshine State, a three-time winner around Albion Park with multiple placings in good company.

Isn’t an explosive type but should eat up the 530 here at Angle with sustained pace to the post.

Race 11. 10.35PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 – 530 metres

#1 Gonzaga – Bet @ Sportsbet

Untested over the five hundred metres but this is the perfect way to start off the back of a short course win at Gawler and drawn box one where he can punch up and lead.

Does have experience here with four placings, and as a more mature dog this could be his time.

Race 12. 10.50PM Follow The Dogs SA on Twitter Grade 6 – 530 metres

#4 Helmet Giblet – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been brave from wide boxes his last couple of starts never really a winning hope but still finding his way into the placings.

Box four still isn’t ideal but it’s better and if he can go around his best of 30.76 he’ll be right around the mark here.
