Baby Storm comes off a disappointing effort at Happy Valley but he looked good prior when scoring by a length.
The five-year-old son of Redwood took 15 runs to get off the mark and he could rise through the grades now.

Race 2. (22:15) Morrison Hill C4 Handicap (1650m)
#2 – Lady First – Bet @ Sportsbet
Lady First was too good for them when scoring by three lengths two starts back. He turned around some poor form to score easily and his recent placing at Sha Tin is a good sign.
The seven-year-old has yet to win from 19 starts at Happy Valley. However, he gets a valuable 3kg off his back and that bodes well.
It’s not the best field and he could take advantage.
Race 3. (22:45) Matheson C4 Handicap (1200m)
#8 – Gallant Legacy – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gallant Legacy showed enough fresh up at Happy Valley to warrant attention on Wednesday night.
The six-year-old son of Redoute’s Choice broke through for the win last season and he’s capable of beating a field of this nature.
Karis Teetan rides and punters should get each-way odds.
Race 4. (23:15) Percival C4 Handicap (1800m)
#1 – Dynamic Eagle – Bet @ Sportsbet
Dynamic Eagle has scored two wins from his last three starts and his most recent win came by 1.5 lengths.
The seven-year-old is a five-time winner that goes best at Happy Valley and there are many things in his favour on Wednesday.
He should run at generous odds and go close.
Race 5. (23:45) Matheson C4 Handicap (1200m)
#2 – Shining On – Bet @ Sportsbet
Shining On already has three wins to his name this season and he could add a fourth. The seven-year-old gelding likes to score narrow wins, but he knows how to fight hard.
He is a son of O’Reilly that owns four wins and 10 placings from 24 starts at Happy Valley, which is an impressive record.

Ever Force comes off a win at Happy Valley and he is capable of going back-to-back. The three-year-old won narrowly last start and that form stacks up well.
The son of Toronado has improved with every start throughout his career and getting Zac Purton in the saddle is a bonus.
He also gets the inside draw, so punters should expect a big effort.

#10 – Villa Fionn – Bet @ Sportsbet
Villa Fionn comes off a narrow win at Happy Valley and he’s good enough to score back-to-back wins.
The six-year-old son of Sebring typically improves with a few runs under his belt and dropping to 53.5kg should be a big help.
Barrier 10 won’t make it easy but he has time to find cover over this distance.

Frankie Lor lines up the son of Per Incanto that scored a 1.8-length win at Happy Valley last time out.
The six-year-old owns a win and a placing from three starts at Happy Valley, so we’re expecting another positive effort this time in.
Matthew Poon takes 1kg off his back and that bodes well.
Race 9. (01:50) Canal C3 Handicap (1650m)
#1 – Savaquin – Bet @ Sportsbet
Savaquin is a four-time winner from 11 starts and two of those wins have come at Happy Valley.
The son of Savabeel comes off back-to-back wins at Happy Valley and the latest came by a length. He has plenty of potential and punters have come for him in early markets.
