Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees @ Yankee Stadium
American League East division rivals square off for the fifth game in the series. The Rays currently have a 3-1 advantage over the Yankees this season, but New York has the better overall record.
The Yankees are 16-6 and 10-1 at home. They are coming off four consecutive wins over the Red Sox and that was largely without Aaron Judge.
New York is a little beaten up, which isn’t unusual, so the Rays could pounce on that and take advantage. Tampa Bay is 14-9 and they have won their last two games on the road.
It has been a long road trip for the Rays, which started over a week ago. Despite playing out of a hotel, Tampa Bay is producing offensive numbers that they should be proud of.
They scored 17 runs in a win over Boston last week and Brandon Lowe is doing most of the work. He has 20 RBI’s and is hitting well above .300.
It is a tough game to call but the Rays are heading in a good direction and punters will likely get better than even money.

Houston Astros vs. Colorado Rockies @ Coors Field
The Astros and Rockies bring in identical 13-10 records to this game, so the winner will take a slight advantage in the league.
Houston has been able to ignore the critics this season and post five consecutive wins coming into this game. Those wins came over Seattle and a 2-1 win over Colorado on Tuesday.
Colorado hasn’t been in good form recently, posting losses in four of their last five. The only win came against Texas and it has been pitching that has been the main problem.
They send German Marquez to the mound on Friday, who is 2-3 on the season but owns a handy ERA of 2.25. Marquez is an experienced pitcher that should get through at least seven innings.
Opposing him on the mound will be Cristian Javier, who is 2-1 and posting an ERA of 2.91. He has given up a few walks and home runs, but he is a strikeout pitcher.
With momentum in their favour and plenty of confidence to call upon, we are going with the Astros. They represent good value against the Rockies and they could keep their winning streak alive.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Minnesota Twins @ Target Field
Milwaukee is looking to get above .500 but they face a tough Minnesota team looking to post three consecutive victories.
The Brewers have already posted three consecutive wins coming into this game and all three wins came over an excellent Chicago Cubs team.
The Twins recent success came against Kansas City and the only recent loss was in a seven-inning contest. However, scoring runs has been tough to come by for the Twins.
They have scored only 14 runs from their last four games, with a game high of four. Nelson Cruz is doing most of the damage with eight home runs and 23 RBI.
Milwaukee has done well to be at 10-10 given the efforts of their main man. Christian Yelich is .194 and has only 12 RBI and five home runs.
He hasn’t come out of the gate like most expected him to, but it’s only a matter of time before the MVP candidate hits top gear.
For that reason, we are going with the Brewers to cause a slight upset. They have a lot of potential and their record should continue to improve as the season progresses.
