Atlanta Hawks vs. Boston Celtics @ TD Garden
Not much has gone right for Boston over the last couple of weeks, which includes four losses from its last five games.
There is no real reason for the Celtics’ struggles, and losses to Detroit and Washington aren’t good enough for a team expected to go well this season.
Boston comes off a 13-pt loss to Washington, which should get Atlanta excited about a potential road win on Thursday.
Atlanta hasn’t fared much better recently. The Hawks have lost four consecutive wins to Dallas, San Antonio, Indiana and New York.
At 11-16, there are danger signs for the Hawks as they slip further behind Charlotte in the Southwest standings. It’s not a strong division, so Atlanta doesn’t need to win often to make headway.
Boston has plenty of pressure to deal with at the moment, but with home court advantage, the Celtics should get the job done.

Denver Nuggets vs. Washington Wizards @ Capital One Arena
Washington has been one of the more enigmatic teams in 2021 and punters never know what to expect.
The Wizards are 8-17 on the season but enter this game with consecutive wins on the record. They scored an upset win over Boston before beating Houston 131-119.
Bradley Beal continues to lead the league in scoring with 33.1 points per game, and Russell Westbrook is now starting to play at his best.
Westbrook is averaging 9.2 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game, which is allowing Beal to be a primary scorer and not have to worry about assisting his teammates.
Denver is also playing well after notching three wins on the trot. The Nuggets are now 15-11 and they are responsible for giving Utah its only loss in the last month.
Nikola Jokic is almost averaging a triple double with 26.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game. He’s doing it all for the Nuggets and they are doing it without the likes of Will Barton, Paul Millsap, Monte Morris and Gary Harris.
A close game is expected but the class of the Nuggets should be too much for the inconsistent Wizards.

Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers @ STAPLES Center
The Jazz bring their impressive 23-5 record to Los Angeles and they could face a Clippers team without its two best players.
Los Angeles comes off an upset 125-118 win over Miami despite not having Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. It was Jordan Clarkson who had a 40-point game for the Clippers, but something similar might be needed again.
Utah is the testing material of the NBA this season and there was plenty to like about its 134-123 win over Philadelphia on Tuesday.
The Jazz currently have a six-game lead over Portland in the Northwest standings and their record is tough to ignore. Players from around the league have labelled the Jazz as the best team in the competition, which is high praise.
Los Angeles has rattled off four consecutive wins without one of their superstars, which has been quite some effort. They are a classy team, so punters can’t overlook the chances of the Clippers on Thursday.
However, we can’t find a reason to bet against Utah. It has made an incredible start to the season and until the confidence levels drop, we’ll be backing them in.
