Champions League Final Qualifying Round, 2nd Leg Predictions

Kairat Almaty vs Celtic

Betting Tip: Celtic to win the match @ $1.63

Kairat Almaty ($5.25)

Celtic ($1.63)

Draw ($4.33)

Nobody gave Kairat Almaty any chance of getting a result when they visited Glasgow last week, yet the Kazakh giants managed to escape with a 0-0 draw. This leaves the tie very much in the balance and it promises to be a straight one game shootout here. Kairat were resolute in defence, something they may well be again here, but Celtic can afford to play with more freedom on the road. This will be tight and frenetic, but Celtic could squeeze through this one.

Celtic to win 2-1

FC Paphos vs Crvena Zvezda

Betting Tip: Crvena Zvezda to win the match @ $2.10

FC Paphos ($3.55)

Crvena Zvezda ($2.10)

Draw ($3.70)

Following their shock win in Belgrade last week, Cypriot side FC Paphos find themselves on the brink of breaking into the European elite. However, they know they will be in for a serious game against a Crvena Zvezda side, who are continuing to become more accustomed to European competition. Both teams have some strong attacking outlets, meaning goals could be on the agenda once more and while it may not be enough to see them through, Crvena Zvezda look decent value to win the tie in Cyprus.

Crvena Zvezda to win 2-1

Sturm Graz vs Bodo Glimt

Sturm Graz ($2.80)

Bodo Glimt ($2.45)

Draw ($3.80)

Following a procession in Norway last week, Bodo Glimt will be eager to seal the deal here against Sturm Graz. Bodo Glimt have a 5-0 lead following a one-sided first leg in the Arctic Circle and they know they have one foot in the league stages of the Champions League, for the very first time. Sturm Graz can have a good crack here, without any pressure on them and their home fans will be expectant but this could end up as a chaotic draw in Austria.

2-2 Draw

FC Qarabag vs Ferenvacos

Betting Tip: FC Qarabag to win the match @ $2.35

FC Qarabag ($2.35)

Ferenvacos ($3.20)

Draw ($3.60)

Azerbaijani side FC Qarabag continue to punch above their weight in European competition, and they look well placed to reach the UCL league stage, provided they can hang on to their lead here against Ferenvacos. It was a chaotic encounter between these two sides in Budapest last week, with both sides spurning chances but Qarabag ultimately were more clinical in the key moments and that could be the case once again here.

FC Qarabag to win 2-1

Club Brugge vs Rangers

Betting Tip: Club Brugge to win the match @ $1.61

Club Brugge ($1.61)

Rangers ($5.50)

Draw ($4.20)

Belgian giants Club Brugge had way too much for Rangers at Ibrox last week and with the atmosphere in Glasgow beginning to turn toxic, it feels like damage limitation for the Gers here in Belgium. Club Brugge troubled the likes of Manchester City and PSG at times in the Champions League last year, ultimately coming up short in the league stages but they will feel they are equipped to challenge again this season. They have a 3-1 lead in this tie and should get over the line comfortably, heaping further pressure on Rangers.

Club Brugge to win 3-0

FC Copenhagen vs Basel

Betting Tip: The match to finish as a draw @ $4.10

FC Copenhagen ($1.85)

Basel ($4.50)

Draw ($4.10)

Following a pulsating draw in Switzerland last week, both FC Copenhagen and Basel will be doing all they can to secure their place in the league stages of the Champions League. Danish outfit FC Copenhagen have gone deep in the UCL a few times in recent seasons, and it has become a bit of a benchmark for them to compete at this level. Basel meanwhile haven’t been in the Champions League mix for a few seasons but would love to return to the big time this season. Calling this one is tough, with extra time and penalties potentially needed.

1-1 Draw

Benfica vs Fenerbahce

Betting Tip: Benfica to win the match @ $1.65

Benfica ($1.65)

Fenerbahce ($5.50)

Draw ($4.25)

Both Benfica and Fenerbahce will be expecting to ply their trade in the Champions League this season, but the reality will only come to the fore for one of them. Benfica hung tough in Istanbul last weekend and will be eager to bring this one back to Lisbon and get the job done. Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce are always a difficult prospect and should never be written off but perhaps Benfica could be too strong in key areas.

Benfica to win 2-1
