Super League Round 8 Tips

Friday 18/4/25

9:30pm Hull FC vs Hull KR @ Craven Park, Hull

Hull KR experience their first loss of the season last weekend against the reigning champions Wigan but were without Mikey Lewis, last year’s Man of Steel.

Hull FC to everyone’s surprise find themselves just behind the Robbins in second and are looking great under John Cartwright especially in their win over Warrington last weekend.

I think this match will be much tighter than their Challenge Cup clash a few weeks back and might be worth having a dabble on Hull FC H2H @ $3.50.

Betting tip: Hull FC +10.5 @ $1.80

Saturday 19/4/25

12:00am Wigan Warriors vs St Helens @ The Brick Community Stadium, WIgan

Wigan had a strong finish of Hull KR over the weekend and you could tell they looked well rested following the week off.

Saints also had a good win over Wakefield with young George Whitby steering a ship while Jonny Lomax was rested.

These two always put on a show.

Betting tip: Saints +10.5 @ $1.80

Wigan by 6

2:30am Leeds Rhinos vs Huddersfield Giants @ AMT Headingley, Leeds

Leeds have been starting to hit their stride these past few weeks and look like they’re starting to thrive in Brad Arthurs system.

Jake Connor has been a revelation since joining from Huddersfield and could be a smokey for a Man of Steel if he keeps it up.

Huddersfield have been unlucky this season and were disappointing in Perpignan last weekend I just don’t know if this game has a 24-point margin in it.

Betting tip: Huddersfield +23.5@ $2

Leeds by 18

10:30pm Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves @ Leigh Sports Village, Leigh

Leigh got back in the winner’s circle last weekend with a win over Castleford in which they looked to be in autopilot.

Warrington didn’t show up for their first half against Hull FC but managed to put together some points in the second half, but it was too little, too late.

This will be a really good contest which could go down to the wire.

Betting tip: Warrington H2H @ $2.20

Warrington by 2

Sunday 20/4/25

3:00am Catalans Dragons vs Salford Red Devils @ Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan, France

Catalans had a big win over and understrength Huddersfield last weekend but have been quietly stringing together some good contests the past few weeks.

Salford continue to be in shambles off the field following the new ownership takeover which is having a dramatic impact on it.

Catalans by a decent margin.

Betting tip: Catalans -25.5 @ $1.80

Catalans by 34
