North Melbourne vs. Fremantle Predictions

Best Bet
It’s not easy backing North Melbourne against a team coming off three consecutive wins, but there is some confidence with the Kangaroos following a win over West Coast.
They might have beaten one of the worst AFL teams on the planet last week, but they also defeated Richmond earlier this season and had a draw with Brisbane. That was a top effort for the struggling franchise, and it could see them take it close against the Dockers.
Fremantle’s recent success has come against teams that have struggled in recent weeks, so the –31.5 could be inflated. It’s best to jump on the Kangaroos at the current line, which is a generous offering with AFL odds.

Looking to get on the scorers’ list are Paul Curtis and Shai Bolton. Curtis has been in great form for North Melbourne, scoring 12 goals from his last five games, including three goals against West Coast last week.
Punters get $2.10 odds for Curtis to score at least twice, and $1.73 for Bolton to score 2+ goals. Bolton hasn’t been the most consistent player for Fremantle, but when he’s on, he’s on. Two of his last three games have been good, scoring three goals in each.
Under 167.5 should cash in a matchup that is often low scoring. They combined for 178 points last year, but only 145 points in 2023 when North Melbourne scored a 73-72 win. That’s more of what we expect from the 2025 edition.

Jy Simpkin could have a big game for North Melbourne, and although getting 25+ disposals isn’t easy, he’s due for a big game.
He comes off consecutive 23 disposal games, so he only needs to improve slightly to post 25 disposals, and he should get plenty of action against Fremantle.
Getting $3.10 is a great price from bookmakers, and he could return from a spell on the sidelines in grand form on Saturday night.
