Best Bet
Putting up a big number on West Coast isn’t hard for most teams, especially Carlton. The Blues won 121-50 earlier this year and 99-34 last year, so we have no problems taking them to cover the –25.5 line.
West Coast has played some solid games in defeat, including losing to Richmond by two points and beating St Kilda. However, they were beaten by North Melbourne last week, and Carlton is a much better team than the Kangaroos.
Carlton comes off a tough win over Essendon, and although it didn’t cover the spread, covering a –25.5 spread against the worst team in the AFL shouldn’t be difficult, so we’re jumping on the line before it moves throughout the week.

Charlie Curnow will be frothing at the mouth to take on West Coast, and he could have a massive game. He scored two goals last week against Essendon, but with 13 goals from his last five games, Curnow is on fire.
West Coast’s defence isn’t good enough to keep Curnow at bay, and punters are wise to include him in AFL same game multis at $1.63 odds. They should also include Zac Williams 2+ goals at $2.35. He will get ample opportunity to kick goals, and he comes off a 2-goal performance.
We thought the total points line would be much lower than 168.5 points. They combined for 171 points in April, but with West Coast scoring only 50 points, it should struggle to score again. We expect the final score to be around 100-60, so include under in your multis.
