With midweek European drama over for the time being, attention turns to the Premier League and the scramble to finish inside the top 4 and stay clear of the relegation picture. Liverpool’s 13 point lead at the top of the table feels as if it is insurmountable and they look well set to lift the trophy for the first time in 5 years. Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City look well placed to be playing in the Champions League next season, while Wolves have the advantage in the relegation scrap, with Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City floundering.
Here are our Premier League tips for the next round of fixtures this season:

EPL Week 28 Predictions
—
Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City – City Ground
Nottingham Forest ($4.00)
Manchester City ($1.95)
Draw ($3.90)
It feels as if it is crunch time for Nottingham Forest in relation to their Champions League aspirations this season and they host Manchester City in a big game for both clubs here. Forest have hit their first bump in the road this term, dropping points against Fulham and Bournemouth but they got back on track with a gutsy home draw against Arsenal and progressed in the FA Cup. City are in a strange place under Pep Guardiola, with just the FA Cup to play for at this stage in the season. City have wilted too many times on the road at the moment and this could be another at the City Ground.
Betting tip: Nottingham Forest to win the match ($4.00)
Nottingham Forest to win 2-1
Liverpool vs Southampton – Anfield
Liverpool ($1.13)
Southampton ($21.00)
Draw ($11.00)
It is top against bottom in the Premier League here, as high-flying Liverpool host lowly Southampton. Following their fortunate win over PSG in the Champions League in midweek, Liverpool’s efficiency has never been more evident, and it feels as if the reds could win all three trophies available to them this term. Meanwhile, Southampton continue to struggle with Premier League life and are in danger of being cut adrift at the bottom of the pack. Liverpool will rest players here, but they should have more than enough in reserve to see off Southampton.
Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.13)
Liverpool to win 3-0
Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Town – Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace ($1.50)
Ipswich Town ($7.00)
Draw ($4.75)
Oliver Glasner tends to have his sides ticking by the second half of the season and once again this term, Crystal Palace look well placed to kick on with their top half aspirations. Ipswich Town are the visitors to Selhurst Park here, a side that bombed out of the FA Cup in midweek and who are in danger of slipping back into the Championship pretty quickly. Palace do look a little under priced for this one, with Ipswich carrying plenty of threats but a home win feels most likely.
Betting tip: Crystal Palace to win the match ($1.50)
Crystal Palace to win 2-1
Brighton vs Fulham – AMEX Stadium
Brighton ($2.05)
Fulham ($3.90)
Draw ($3.67)
Two sides enjoying super seasons meet here, as Brighton and Fulham clash down on the south coast. The Seagulls remain a match for anyone on their day and with their place in the last 8 of the FA Cup booked, they will be dreaming of silverware this term. Fulham are also in the FA Cup quarter finals, having overcome Manchester United last weekend and should arrive here full of confidence. This is a tough one to call but home advantage could perhaps see Brighton over the line.
Betting tip: Brighton to win the match ($2.05)
Brighton to win 2-1
Brentford vs Aston Villa – Gtech Community Stadium
Brentford ($2.38)
Aston Villa ($2.90)
Draw ($3.80)
Another cracker looks to be on the agenda in this one, as Brentford and Aston Villa, with goals seemingly guaranteed when these two meet. The Bees have provided entertainment all season, particularly at home and they will be fancying their chances of pushing on for some European football come the end of the campaign. The Champions League now looks to be the priority for Aston Villa, who have one foot in the last 8 and they have struggled to manage their workload after UCL games so far this term. This could be tight and a score draw could be the outcome.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.80)
2-2 Draw
Wolves vs Everton – Molyneux
Wolves ($2.65)
Everton ($2.95)
Draw ($3.25)
Wolves turn their attentions to the cut and thrust of the Premier League relegation scrap, as they host Everton here. It has been an odd few weeks for the Wanderers, but they remain a side that could beat anybody on their day and that enigmatic streak looks to be holding them in good stead in their survival bid. Everton meanwhile have been far more metronomic under David Moyes, and it feels as if the Toffees are a side on the up. There isn’t much to split these two sides and it could be a tight draw in Wolverhampton.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.25)
1-1 Draw
Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Tottenham ($2.65)
Bournemouth ($2.50)
Draw ($3.90)
Tottenham’s mini resurgence was punctured by Manchester City last time out and Bournemouth are the next visitors to North London. It has been a curious season for Spurs, who now only have the Europa League to play for and Ange Postecoglou’s time in charge is constantly under scrutiny. The opposite could be said of Bournemouth, who have surpassed expectations this season, sat in the top 6 in the Premier League table and with a FA Cup quarter final to look forward to. This one looks as if it could generate goals, and a draw could be on the agenda.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.90)
2-2 Draw
Chelsea vs Leicester City – Stamford Bridge
Chelsea ($1.22)
Leicester City ($13.00)
Draw ($8.00)
Chelsea and Leicester City meet at Stamford Bridge, as Enzo Maresca welcomes his former side to West London. Gauging where Chelsea are at currently isn’t easy, as the blues continue to scrap away in the Premier League and the Europa Conference League, but consistency has been hard to come by. Leicester City meanwhile are struggling down in the relegation zone and look to be a side very short on confidence. Chelsea need a win here and should pick up a comfortable one at the expense of Leicester.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.22)
Chelsea to win 3-0
Manchester United vs Arsenal – Old Trafford
Manchester United ($5.00)
Arsenal ($1.80)
Draw ($3.50)
A Premier League classic reignites here, as Manchester United and Arsenal meet in Salford. The Red Devils crashed out of the FA Cup last time out and are now turning to the Europa League to salvage their season. Arsenal meanwhile marched on in the Champions League in midweek, putting 7 past PSV Eindhoven, to silence the narrative around them struggling to score goals. This is always a tasty one, which United should be bang up for but Arsenal should sneak over the line at Old Trafford.
Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.80)
Arsenal to win 2-1
West Ham United vs Newcastle United – London Olympic Stadium
West Ham United ($3.25)
Newcastle United ($2.25)
Draw ($3.60)
Monday Night Football comes from East London, as West Ham take on Newcastle, in what should be a very good game. The Hammers are improving under Graham Potter and look to be ready to climb up the table, with one eye on next season too. Newcastle meanwhile have the Carabao Cup final to look forward to next weekend and will be wanting to keep momentum ticking, after crashing out of the FA Cup last weekend. This will be tight, but Toon could grab all three points here and march on with their top 4 bid.
Betting tip: Newcastle United to win the match ($2.25)
Newcastle United to win 2-1
