Burns has been threatening to win a tournament in 2025, and he lost one of them in a playoff at the RBC Canadian Open before going close at the U.S. Open the following week.
The 28-year-old is a proven winner on the PGA Tour, so he has enough experience to handle this field, and that’s why we fancy his chances. He played well enough last week at The Open Championship when finishing T45, so that was another solid showing.
The American deserves to be at the top of our golf picks, and we’re hoping he can score an overdue win.

What a two-week span it has been for Chris Gotterup. He won the Scottish Open before posting a third-place finish at The Open last week.
The American might be better suited to playing golf in Europe, but he must be on cloud nine right now, so we’re happy to include him in our 3M Open picks at a value price. Getting $31 for a golfer in his form is tough to overlook.
We’re hoping he’s not too tired after travelling back to the states, but if he’s anywhere near his recent form, he should be on the first page of the leaderboard at nice odds.

Boasting one of the best swings on the PGA Tour, Jake Knapp is always capable of winning golf tournaments, and he showed what he can do in the first round of the Scottish Open two weeks ago.
He didn’t finish the tournament the way he would have liked, but he’s a proven winner on the PGA Tour, and if his short game is anywhere near its best, he should be tough to beat at the 3M Open this week.
His swing is one of the purest in the world, but his short game leaves a lot to be desired. Having had experience in Europe, he should be better around the greens, so include him in your picks as the $36 odds, which are generous.

Looking to score his third PGA Tour win is Erik Van Rooyen, who missed the cut at the Scottish Open, but he didn’t play all too poorly.
The South African golfer is another player in the 3M Open field with experience winning on the tour, and that puts him above many golfers. His form in 2025 has been solid enough to warrant attention at the $67 odd, which are good value.
