First race in 20h 23m Midweek racing out of New South Wales comes from Warwick Farm, where it’s a brief but quality six-race card. The BM88 race is the highest-rated event at the meeting, which is also the last race, and there are plenty of quality midweek types in action.
Race 1. (15:00) Asahi Super Dry Maiden (1400m)
#12 - Quarterback @ $4.20

Money has come for Quarterback to win following a handy third placing, and he has room for improvement.
The three-year-old son of Super Seth owns three placings from four starts, and his placing at Rosehill last start was good.
The McDonald/Waller combo is tough to ignore.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 2. (15:35) Yarraman Park Stud BM78 (2400m)
#5 - Savvy Spy @ $2.70

Savvy Spy is gunning for consecutive wins after scoring at Hawkesbury last time out, and a repeat of that effort will be good enough.
The four-year-old son of Savabeel owns two wins and three placings from nine starts overall, and getting in with 54kg makes him tough to hold out.
Having Tim Clark riding is a positive, and he’ll likely be sent forward.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 3. (16:10) Ranvet BM78 (1400m)
#8 - Stallone @ $6.50

Stallone is another runner shooting for consecutive wins after kicking away to score impressively at Hawkesbury last start.
The Bjorn Baker-trained gelding won by just under three lengths, and he never looked like losing, so that’s a good form guide for this race.
Barrier five sees him find a good spot in running, and he could kick away nicely.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Race 4. (16:45) All Too Hard at Vinery Stud BM72 (1100m)
#2 - Ellipsis @ $4.00

Ellipsis has been tough to beat throughout her career, which includes 10 starts for three wins and five placings.
The five-year-old mare by Written Tycoon was only 1.4 lengths behind Fierce last time out at Rosehill, and something close to that run would be enough to compete well here.
He’s drawn well in barrier two, and that could be the winning of the race.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Race 5. (17:30) Toyota Forklifts BM72 (1400m)
#6 - Love Story @ $1.55

We’re saying yes to Love Story, who kicked away for an easy 3.2-length win in maiden grade last time out.
The well-bred mare by Justify ran second behind a very smart type in the making on debut, so the form is good enough to be winning in BM72 grade.
It’s not an easy midweek field, but she has plenty of potential.
Stake: 2 Units
Race 6. (17:55) Tab BM88 (1200m)
#4 - She's an Artist @ $2.70

We have backed She’s an Artist a few times without success, but the former Melbourne-based mare won’t take long to win a race this season.
She is a three-time winner from 11 starts, and she looked well above average early on. That hasn’t quite eventuated, but she ran at group 3 level last start.
This is a fair drop in class, and with a good ride from Zac Lloyd from barrier 9, she should be right in the thick of the action.
Stake: 2 Units
