Wyong Racing Tips for Thursday, October 29th 2026First race in 17h 49m

We have our best bets from Wyong on Thursday, where the track is currently rated a soft 5. That should make it fair for most runners, as the tracks start to dry out in New South Wales. There are some runners worth following out of this meeting, so it will be a popular betting card this week.

Race 1. (13:15) Sal App Electra Trader BM64 (2100m)

#7 - Satono's Shout @ $5.50

BET NOW

Chris Waller lines up Satono’s Shout, who needs to lift on his recent efforts, but we’re giving him another chance.

The three-year-old son of Satono Aladdin has shown promise with two placings from six starts, and dropping to 53.5kg could make the difference.

It’s not an easy field, but he’s worth another chance.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:50) Prysmian Cables C1 (1200m)

#2 - Erin Jo @ $4.50

BET NOW

Erin Jo is an interesting runner for Kris Lees, who last raced at Group 2 level at Doomben.

The four-year-old mare owns a win and two placings from seven starts, and she’s the best horse in this field, but she will need to sprint fresh up.

That’s the concern, but we’re hoping class takes her close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (14:25) Haneco HPM Legend C1 (1200m)

#3 - Senjutsu @ $3.50

BET NOW

Bjorn Baker lines up Senjutsu, who ended last preparation with a second placing at Goulburn, and he could hit the ground running.

The four-year-old son of Fastnet Rock has been prepared with a trial placing at Rosehill, and getting the inside draw adds to his appeal.

The Baker stable is firing, so punters should be confident.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (15:05) Schneider Pipemakers Maiden (1100m)

#7 - Mayflower @ $2.70

BET NOW

Mayflower is an expensive $360,000 purchase for Michael Freedman, who showed plenty of ability at the trials.

The three-year-old filly by in-form sire Capitalist owns two trial wins and two placings, and she comes off wins at Randwick and Rosehill trials.

This is a hot maiden field for a Thursday, but she can’t be overlooked.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (15:40) Hunter Pacific Matchmaster Omni Maiden (1600m)

#8 - March @ $16.00

BET NOW

We were impressed by the debut performance from March, who ran third at Illawarra Grange on debut.

The five-year-old mare didn’t have any betting support on that occasion, so she defied the odds, and that’s encouraging.

Punters get nice odds again, so include her for value.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (16:20) Go Electrical Midway Maiden (1000m)

#3 - Don't Doubt Darcy @ $4.00

BET NOW

Don’t Doubt Darcy had good betting support on debut when running fourth, and although disappointing, he could return from a spell in good order.

The four-year-old son of D’argento has since trialed twice, including a win at Warwick Farm most recently, so that’s a good form guide.

He only needs some luck from barrier 10 to go close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (16:55) Klein Tools Evolt Omega Power BM68 (1000m)

#2 - Valilee @ $3.20

BET NOW

Valilee hasn’t been too far away from a win this preparation, including a second placing two back at Newcastle.

That’s a solid form guide for this race, and the six-year-old son of Adelaide showed excellent speed last prep when winning three races.

He is a quick type, and he won’t take much longer to win.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (17:35) Cabac Martec Hager BM64 (1600m)

#3 - Unbridled Storm @ $4.00

BET NOW

Boasting a win and two placings this prep is Unbridled Storm, who could give Chris Waller a win on the card.

The five-year-old son of Puissance de Lune won at Hawkesbury to break maidens, and something close to that would be good enough.

Jason Collett rides, so we’re including him in horse racing picks.

Stake: 1 Unit
