With a few years of rebuilding under their belt, it’s now time for the Thunder to show their title credentials, and there is good respect for them in betting markets.

There is enough natural talent on the roster to go all the way, and there was enough cohesion with Doncic and Irving to be comfortable taking the $12.00 for the Mavericks to win. They are the most important players on the team, so they need to gel.
Thompson might be past his best offensively, but he adds a good level of defence, and that’s what Dallas needs. It has been terrible on defence over the past few years, so the addition of Thompson is a positive, and he also has championship-winning experience.

We’re not sure why the Nuggets are $12.00 to win, but we’re happy to take the value.
They have recent NBA Championship experience, and they have one of the best players in the league in Nikola Jokic, so there are no real weak points for the Western Conference team.
We’re not thrilled by the signing of Russell Westbrook, but he’s unlikely to be used much, and he’ll likely come onto the court when Michael Porter Jr, Aaron Gordon or Jamal Murray are off the court.
Getting $12.00 with NBA odds for the Nuggets is good shopping, so include them in your NBA title picks.

We like a few players for NBA MVP, including Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but we like Gilgeous-Alexander more.
The Thunder scorer gets a lot of votes because he does the majority of their scoring, and with Caruso playing, he should get plenty of good dishes to put up big scoring totals.
Because we expect the Thunder to win the championship, naturally, we have their best player as our top MVP pick. He has been close to winning the honour over the last couple of years, and this could be his time to shine.
He’s on the second line of betting at $4.50 behind Doncic at $4.33, and we’re lapping up those odds with MVP betting markets.

The former Purdue player wasn’t drafted top in the 2024 NBA Draft, but after playing well in pre-season, maybe he should have been.
He plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, and what makes him different to Zaccharie Risacher, is that he’s 22 years old. Risacher is still a teenager, and although the French player was taken as the first draft pick, we have been more impressed by Edey.
There was too much hype around French players due to Victor Wembanyama, and Edey slipped through the cracks. However, the sportsbook as Edey as favourite at $3.70, so he hasn’t been missed with NBA betting odds.
We fancy him to have a big rookie year for the Grizz.
