ATP Geneva Tips & Predictions

ATP Geneva Best Bet – Novak Djokovic
It has been an interesting year for the Serbian superstar, who wouldn’t usually play this close to a grand slam tournament.
He was hit in the head by a water bottle before suffering an early exit from the tournament, so he’s at Geneva to find form before Roland Garros.
The $2.37 favourite might be slowing down at the back end of his career, but he’s still clearly the best player in the ATP tournament.
Winning grand slams is important at this stage of his career, so before he heads to the French Open, he wants to get a tournament win under his belt.
Clay court tennis can produce some odd results, but all things being equal, Djokovic is the player to beat.
Bet: Novak Djokovic @ $2.37
ATP Geneva Best Value – Casper Ruud
Ruud is the second seed in the tournament and rightfully so.
The 25-year-old from Norway has had a good 2024, and although he was beaten in the Round of 64 at the Italian Open, we’re prepared to give him another chance.
Inconsistency has always been tough for him, so his result last week wasn’t entirely surprising. After winning the opening set 6-0 against Miomir Kecmanovic, he then lost the last two sets.
However, with a win at the Barcelona Open on his record this year, he could give Djokovic a run for his money.
Ruud is on the second line of betting at $4.33, which is a fair price for a player of his quality.
Bet: Casper Ruud @ $4.33
ATP Geneva Next Best – Taylor Fritz
Taylor Fritz is never too far away from winning on the ATP Tour, which is why he’s our third pick at $8.50.
The big serving American lost to Alex Zverev at the Italian Open in the quarterfinals, but he had looked good prior to that loss.
He dug deep to beat Gregor Dimitrov in three sets, and he also defeated Sebastian Korda and Fabio Fognini on his way to the finals.
The 26-year-old only needs some confidence to win tournaments, and considering the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner aren’t playing this week, he should fancy his chances of at least making the semifinals.
Anything can happen from there, so the current odds are generous.
Bet: Taylor Fritz @ $8.50
ATP Geneva Best Roughie – Emil Ruusuvuori
Emil Ruusuvuori is much better than what he has been showing this year, so we’re happy to stick with him.
The 25-year-old player from Finland comes off a Round of 16 loss in a Challenger tournament, which is terrible form. However, he’s not too far away from unlocking his best tennis.
Interestingly, he has yet to play Djokovic throughout his career, and although he’s 0-3 against Ruud, he is 1-1 against players like Alcaraz and Zverev.
The ability is there, and given the $51.00 odds available, he’s worth having a nibble on.
Bet: Emil Ruusuvuori @ $51.00
