Friday 25/4/25
5:05pm Chiefs vs. Force @ FMG Stadium
The Chiefs got back to their winning ways with a big performance over the Highlanders last week, winning 46-10. That win should give them confidence to beat the Force, who enjoyed a draw against the Hurricanes.
There is a clear class difference between the Chiefs and Force, which is why the Chiefs are $1.04 favourites with moneyline markets and –21.5 with spread markets.
It’s a big line to cover, but punters should be confident with the Chiefs scoring a massive home win.
Betting tip: Chiefs –21.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Reds vs. Blues @ Suncorp Stadium
A much closer game is expected on Friday night when the Reds face the Blues in the battle of the colours.
Their respective form has been inconsistent, with the Blues losing to the Crusaders last week as favourites, and the Reds losing to the Brumbies two weeks ago before getting a bye last week.
It’s hard to know what both teams will do, but we side we the bookmakers. The Reds are $1.75 favourites, and although the Blues have a better team on paper, they haven’t been showing much on the field.
Betting tip: Reds @ $1.75

Saturday 26/4/25
2:35pm Moana Pasifika vs. Fijian Drua @ North Harbour Stadium
Moana Pasifika had been the darlings of the Super Rugby tournament until they lost 24-0 to the Brumbies last week.
It wasn’t a good performance as the +6.5 underdogs, and with the Drua coming off a 28-14 win over the Waratahs, they could be starting to heat up. However, the Drua are a different team at home, and playing at North Harbour won’t help.
The home side has shown their best form at North Harbour Stadium, so we’re backing Moana Pasifika to win.
Betting tip: Moana Pasifika -5.5 @ $1.90

5:05pm Highlanders vs. Crusaders @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
We love the southern battle between the Highlanders and Crusaders, but it could be a one-sided result on Saturday.
Losing 46-10 to the Chiefs last week won’t give the Highlanders much confidence, and the Crusaders have been one of the better teams in the competition. Therefore, it could be an easy win for the visitors.
The Crusaders showed their toughness when beating the Blues 25-22 and covering a –9.5 spread against a significantly weaker Highlanders outfit shouldn’t be hard.
Betting tip: Crusaders –9.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Brumbies vs Hurricanes @ GIO Stadium
We are not sure what to make of the Hurricanes in 2025. They let a lead slip against the Force last week, which doesn’t bode well against the Brumbies.
The Brumbies have been more consistent, and they’re heading towards the playoffs with recent wins over Moana Pasifika and Reds. Those were strong wins, and we think they’ll be the top Australian team with only six rounds to go.
A win over the Hurricanes puts them in a good position, so take them to cover the –5.5 spread.
Betting tip: Brumbies -5.5 @ $1.90
